EDA was founded with the sole aim of helping the people of Edo State to overcome poverty, improve their health and achieve good education.
Today, with your support, EDA wants to offer this help to the people of Edo State to improve the quality of their lives.

Our ultimate goal is for all people of Edo State to live free of poverty, and have access to the basic necessities of life.
Our Mission
To help the people of Edo State individually and collectively, as and when they need it, in order to reduce poverty, ill-health, illiteracy, and enable a brighter future.
Our Strategic Goals
Sustainable Opportunities: To create or support sustainable opportunities or activities to reduce poverty in Edo State, in line with the UNICEF and UN Sustainable Development Goals to eradicate poverty in all forms.
Partnership Working: To work with other agencies for safe and secure communities in Edo State.
Personal Development: Raise people’s awareness of healthy lifestyles and the impacts of environmental sanitation and diseases on health.
Service Provision: Provision of personnel, basic health facilities, equipment, medicines and vaccinations to increase people’s life expectancies and reduce premature deaths in Edo communities
Empowering People: To empower the people of Edo State to find their strengths and potentials and support them to bring those potentials into reality for a better future.
