Gifts in Memory
Donating in memory is really simple, this can be done in 3 ways:
Online
You can use our easy and secure online form to make a donation in memory of a loved one. This can be a one-off gift or be set up as regular gifts. Making a regular gift in the form of a Direct debit is a convenient way to support the work of EDA. You can set up a gift on a weekly or monthly basis in memory of a loved one.
Tribute Page
An online tribute page is a great way for friends and family to remember loved ones. Tribute pages can be used to share stories, pictures and memoires as well as to make donations. By setting up a tribute page, you will be able to see the total amount raised in your loved one’s name, so that everyone who has donated can see what they have achieved.
You can create a tribute page (Someone Special) using VirginMoneyGiving. The site takes you through a step-by-step process to create a page for your Loved one.
In Memory Collection
If you are organising a collection at a funeral or a memorial service, you may choose to ask friends and family of your loved one to make a donation to EDA.
Alternatively, you can ask those who would like to donate, to send us a cheque. These can be made payable to “Edo Development Aid” and sent to us at: 32 Park Lane, Wembley, HA9 7RZ. Please remind them to enclose a note with their name, contact details and the name of the person that they are donating in memory of, so that we can send them a thank you letter in receipt of their donation.
